Kenya

Kenya is world renowned for its wildlife, where generations of travellers have enjoyed safaris. Mugie hosts the “Big Five” but remains a private sanctuary so both the wildlife and guests enjoy the tranquility. Bush walks are not permitted in Kenya's national parks but on Mugie this is encouraged subject of course to the security of our guides.

Mugie is situated 293 km north of Nairobi, Kenya’s capital city where Jomo Kenyatta International Airport has daily flights to destinations across Europe. London to Nairobi is an eight hour direct flight with a three hour time difference. Direct flights are available from the international airport to Mugie’s private airstrip. Please contact us for further details.

Many visitors combine a wildlife safari on Mugie with time at the coast enjoying the Indian Ocean. Flights available from the airstrip to Mombasa, Lamu, Malindi and other destinations. Mugie can coordinate any of your travel needs.

“Thank you for sharing this piece of Kenyan paradise. We have very much enjoyed viewing all the good work that is being done to conserve all of the animals and aid to Kenyan people. The game drives were very exciting, especially the charging rhino!”
